When the client suggested the brilliant name of “Shop Class” for their new retail store, they visualized it as two words. We understood what they were trying to say and suggested to close the gap so the word shop could not be mistaken as a verb and class would not be seem like it means classy. The logo nameplate makes it almost impossible to see it as two words. Now Shopclass, no matter how you write it, has an approachable feel and conjures up the smell of sawdust in the air.
